Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to describe generally accepted practices and ethical principles associated with human embryonic stem cells. Participants should understand restrictions on their use, the process for obtaining them and the need for involvement of the University's Office of Research. Additionally, participants should understand the derivation and use of human stem cells as well as when human embryomic research becomes human subject research.
