This training is primarily directed to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physician Assistants and other clinical staff.
At the conclusion of this presentation, you should be able to:
- Describe at least two historical implications of the healthcare system on the LGBTQ+ community
- Identify inclusive language and terms to be used when discussing chest/breastfeeding
- Discuss ways healthcare practitioners and the LGBTQ+ community can come together to best meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ community to support chest/breastfeeding.
