This training is primarily directed to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physician Assistants and other clinical staff.

Educational Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, you should be able to:

  • Describe at least two historical implications of the healthcare system on the LGBTQ+ community
  • Identify inclusive language and terms to be used when discussing chest/breastfeeding
  • Discuss ways healthcare practitioners and the LGBTQ+ community can come together to best meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ community to support chest/breastfeeding.
