Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

- Describe the relationship between leadership quality and the association between gender and professional fulfillment.
- Describe burnout and why it matters not just to the individual but to the healthcare system.
- Describe moderation and how it differs from attenuation.
- Improve knowledge regarding the impact of immunosuppression for patients being treated with immunotherapy
- Improve understanding of immune-related adverse events for patients with melanoma being treated with immunotherapy
- Improve understanding of melanoma immunotherapy treatment options
- Learn about sST2’s role in the lung compartment
- Compare sST2 in the lung compartment to the blood compartment
- Identify stimuli of sST2
- Follow current recommended guidelines for primary prevention ICD implantation in HFrEF patients
- Improve nuanced clinical decision making by implementing findings from landmark ICD RCTs<
- Implement a targeted approach to future patient-level recommendations for primary prevention ICD implantation
- Discuss current practices and incorporation of palliative care in heart failure.
- Describe the benefits of early integration of palliative care in patients with heart failure.
- Discuss disparities in end-of-life care and cardiac care.
- Discuss the relationship between specific demographic variables and palliative care contact.
Abstract
Five of our outstanding internal medicine residents will present their research spanning a wide range of topics within the subspecialties of internal medicine.
