Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Explain the basics of environmental science including global warming and the ozone layer
  • Evaluate the impacts of inhalational anesthetics and operating room waste on the environment
  • Identify mitigation strategies to minimize the environmental impacts of anesthesia within their own practice
