Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Explain the basics of environmental science including global warming and the ozone layer
- Evaluate the impacts of inhalational anesthetics and operating room waste on the environment
- Identify mitigation strategies to minimize the environmental impacts of anesthesia within their own practice
