Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the preoperative prediction models to distinguish intraoperative MAP according to their risk of IOH
  • Discuss how Clinicians can identify more patient-specific blood pressures as hemodynamic targets predicted to reduce IOH exposure compared to maintaining MAPs above 65 mmHg, a common approach in clinical practice.
  • Review the literature surrounding intraoperative hypotension.
