Educational Objectives:


Section I: Define academic integrity and the University of Pittsburgh's policy. Define faculty obligations to uphold academic integrity. Identify school procedures for academic integrity violations.

Section II: Define plagiarism. Recognize varying types of plagiarism. Distinguish strategies of preventing plagiarism in the classroom. Identify resources to assist in identifying plagiarism violations.

Section III: Define cheating. Recognize varying cheating methods. Recognize strategies to prevent and avoid cheating in the classroom.
